Transmissions 2024

The initiative is a 2024 Transmissions action implemented in collaboration between the CDTI and AEI, laid down in theState Plan of scientific research, technological and innovation (PEICTI), which coordinates funding clusters of agencies to research and dissemination of knowledge and groups of companies that collaborate for the joint development of coordinated action of r & D, in response to the challenges identified in the thematic priorities orMissions.

The missions selected in the call addressed relevant aspects of two of the challenges in nineSpain 2050the first:"far more productive to grow better"and the fourth"become a carbon-neutral society, sustainable and resilient to climate change".

Overall Objective

Financing of r & D projects, implemented in collaboration by clusters, to respond to challenges in any of the missions, as follows:

  1. Momentum of the development of a spanish industry: development of technologies to progress along the path to merge.
  2. Energy for the twenty-first century: impetus to the advanced fuels, sources of energy and bio-based synthetic fuels developed from the captured CO2.
  3. Momentum of the circular economy valorización- -singularmente recycling and in the field of renewable energies and energy storage.
  4. Momentum of IoT and edge computing insurance, as well as technologies causes cross-sectoral linked, to move towards the autonomous factory.
  5. Developments for the preservation and sustainable uses of coasts and oceans in a context of climate change, coexisting with traditional and emerging activities.
  6. Promote the genetic improvement both in plant varieties and animal species in aquaculture and to make them more sustainable, efficient and resilient to climate change.
  7. Momentum of immunological tools -vacunas-, innovative treatments and technologies, for the prevention and detection of the first signs of disease in animals, as well as their treatment, designed to maximize the health and welfare of animals.
  8. In advancing the investigation of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance, to count on ecosystems and health systems research prepared for diagnosticarlas, prevent and treat them.
Beneficiaries

Groups of legal persons may carry out projects of corporate r & D in cooperation.

  • Grouping composed of between three and eight companies, at least two of them autonomous.
  • The process has to be led by a large or medium-sized company and have at least an sme among its partners.

Companies that are members of the task must be validly created units have separate legal personality and fiscal residence in spain.

The resulting CDTI grouping will not have legal personality, hence one of the participants will act as coordinator or representative.

The members of the clustering shall enter into an agreement to regulate their internal functioning.

The representative of the grouping will receive the payment of the aid granted and are responsible for the members of the grouping according to the distribution as set out in resolution of the concession contract.

For a project as presented by a grouping CDTI finance in this call will be essential that the draft presented by clustering AEI, which is part of coordinated action of r & D, obtain, in turn, funded by the AEI.

The project executed by clustering AEI will be funded by the AEI inconvening 2024 aid to research projects in strategic linesinter-agency collaboration in research and dissemination of knowledge within the framework of the "Initiative 2024" Transmissions.

Characteristics of the assitance

Subvention to the extent of maximum intensity: 65 per cent large company, 75 per cent Medium-Sized Enterprises and 80 per cent.

The amount of aid individualized is determined by the eligible cost real project, the characteristics of the beneficiary and the availability of budgetary resources.

For each project and beneficiary, the maximum intensity of aid be measured by the weight of each type of activity (industrial research or experimental development) and the maximum intensity in each case.

The amount of aid may not exceed the thresholds set out in article 4 of the rules of procedure (EU) no. 651/2014, of 17 june 2014.

Characteristics of the project

Multi-year projects developed in any spanish CC.AA..

  • Eligible budget at least 3m euros and a maximum of 10.000.000.
  • Minimal budget eligible per company 175,000 euros.
  • Duration: 3 or 4 years. Beginning 1 january 2025.
  • Minimum industrial research of 5 per cent of eligible budget.

There shall be a balanced distribution of the budget over the duration of the project.

None of the autonomous companies of the grouping or group of companies linked to or associated exceed 60 per cent of eligible project budget.

The members of the grouping will respond to potential obligations of compensation for activities that have been undertaken to make. In case of default, all members of the grouping and severally liable to the edge of the assistance it had been granted by its participation in the project.

Call funding

Is funded by the budgetary implementation 28.08.467C.74921 of the general state budget for the year 2023 extended to 2024.

Specific objectives

Projects should fall into one of eight missions identified, so that the objectives set out in the same target one or more of the areas of improvement proposed for each mission.

However, the projects presented may propose new additional complementary to those already defined, provided that they were consistent with the mission selected.

Gastos elegibles

Are the following direct costs:

  • Staff costs
  • Costs of equipment and material inventariable
  • Costs of contractual research, expertise and patents acquired or obtained by license from external sources length
  • Consultancy costs and equivalent services designed exclusively to the project
  • Overhead and other additional operating costs resulting directly from the project
  • Expenditure of the report of the auditor.

The overall cost of outsourced activity for a beneficiary may not exceed 50 per cent of eligible budget of the beneficiary.

When the amount of eligible expenditure exceeds the levels set for the child in the contract law 9/2017, of 8 november, on public Sector contracts, the beneficiary must seek at least three different suppliers offers before recruitment.

When the concerted effort with third exceeds 20 per cent of the amount of subsidy and this amount in excess of €60,000, the contract will be held in writing and shall be authorized in advance by the licensor Body.

The constituent entities of the grouping may not be subcontracted including proceedings subject to aid.

In case of subcontracting was carried out with entities with links to the recipient must be the CDTI authorization.

To a request is eligible for a final note equal to or exceeding 50 points.

Incentive effect

You are deemed to have an incentive effect aid if, before the beginning of the activity, the beneficiary has submitted the applications to the convening of 2024, with the content.

Accumulation and incompatibilities of additional aid perception

The aid granted in the framework of this call is incompatible, during its implementation period, with any other public aid at european level, state or autonomous community with identical objectives and purpose.
