TAFTIE

TAFTIE is the association, established in 1992, which brings together the main national agencies of innovation in europe. Its members contribute in a way relevant to economic consolidation of europe to support innovation in products, processes and services and implementing wholly or partly by research, development and innovation in their respective countries.

The association represents the views of its members in the face of european policy of R + D + I. A cornerstone of the mission is TAFTIE activation and intensification of its cooperation with the european commission.

TAFTIE is also a forum for exchange and cooperation among its members. Given the chance to help each other and facilitate the establishment and consolidation of a network for international collaboration among partner agencies and research centres of their respective countries. Organizes working groups, seminars and conferences and their members develop important projects in the Area of R + D + I union, such as participation in co-financed projects of the framework programme.

TAFTIE brings together the experience in the design and implementation of public programmes of innovation. In this context, the association acts as the centre of knowledge to its members through the creation, execution and encouragement of programmes related to innovation.

The CDTI, as a key agency in the national innovation system is an active member of TAFTIE and participates in its initiatives and working groups that are most relevant.
