The Bilateral Agenda Hispano-marroquí technology cooperation seeks to promote technological cooperation between business entities in Spain and morocco in technological development and innovation with the aim to generate economic benefits for spain and morocco and boost the competitiveness of their companies.

There you can participate, at least two or more other entities in both countries to imagine and manage the development of a joint project in any Technical area. Children are also allowed the participation of other business entities or research bodies within the consortium.

At present, within the framework of the bilateral programme for technology cooperation with Morocco, there is an agreement with the INSTITUT DE RECHERCHE EN ENERGIE PANORAMIC ENERGIES NOUVELLES (IRESEN) in order to promote and give preferential funding for projects of spanish companies in collaboration with moroccan entities.

  • INNO-ESPAMAROC ENERGY: Agreement between the centre for technological development and innovation (CDTI) (IS) and the agency IRESEN (INSTITUT DE RECHERCHE EN ENERGIE PANORAMIC ENERGIES NOUVELLES) (SEA) for the development of projects I + D + i sets:
    • Typology of projects: r & D projects (industrial research, development pilot project), led by business and market-oriented (development of new products, processes or services, or substantial improvement in the same), in collaboration with Morocco.
    • Thematic areas of green technologies "": Renewable Energy, energy efficiency, storage Of energy, Sustainable Mobility, Smart Grids, Smart Cities, Nexus Water + + Agri Energy, new energy.
    • Subject to Invitations to tender.
    • Eligibility requirement. At least a spanish company and two moroccan entities (academic entity + moroccan company).
    • Decentralized funding.

How to participate in the agenda?

The spanish company with a project idea can be made in the CDTI a brief interim report. This report, a guidance extension of 3 or 4 pages, is aimed at the spanish participation in the project and must reflect the most remarkable technical characteristics and the commercial viability of the project, together with general information about the company. The document serves as a basis in order to give the company a first opinion on the project proposal and to suggest, if any, changes in approach that would enhance the project.

Once the project is defined among all participants, he must appear in both the CDTI, in spain, the moroccan agency of the programme for the form on the Bilateral agenda that must be agreed by all parties. This document should be placed on the overall project, the activities of the participants and the importance of the same for all partners.

Each country through its agencies, the CDTI managers, in spain, and the moroccan agency according to the programme concerned, are responsible for the assessment and subsequent certification of approved projects with a seal of quality "" offering participating companies:

  • Added value associated with international cooperation and official recognition of the technological level of participants.
  • Companies obtaining financial grants in each country according to its own rules and without exchange of funds.
