Desalination of seawater

On 16 july 2021 was sent to the official journal of the european union (DOUE) the announcement oftenders pre-commercial public purchase for the development of innovative solutions in the area of sea water desalination. This initiative was to obtain a technological product in desalination of seawater to fulfil the functional specifications provided a an industrial scale equal or exceed the 10,000 m3/d. Under the existing sector policy development, improve the qualitative and quantitative improvement of the exploitation of desalination plants conventional reverse osmosis of seawater to overcome, in this way, challenges and future water needs of the public administration in the most sustainable way. This is the procurement of services of I + D + i) to bring together in the conception, design, installation, testing and validation in real life situation of highly innovative technological concept in desalination demonstration scale. The prototype must cover the complete installation the scale proposed and be authorized its installation and operating with demonstrative criterion under existing sectoral regulatory framework.

The public act of opening of tenders economic took place on 21 september 2021. The Contracting authority awarded contracts on 17 november 2021.

Phase I started by the following companies:

• TEDAGUA 108,000. Amount: €+ vat. Duration: 2021-febrero december 2022.
• UTE WATERS OF VALENCIA - DELICIOUS DINNER WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE is: 2000 €89,600 + vat. Duration: 2021-febrero december 2022.

Completed phase I, according to the implementation timetable, the corresponding certificates and the resolution phase change contracting companies. The phase II are:

• UTE WATERS OF VALENCIA - DELICIOUS DINNER WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE is: 2000 1.218.250 €+ vat. Duration: marzo-septiembre 2022

Completed phase II, according to the implementation timetable, the corresponding certificates and the resolution phase change contracting enterprises of phase III are:
