The CDTI Innovation announced a tender for the development of a platform of biorreactores single use for the production of biofármacos

Need raised by a Public Administration

The cellular therapy treatments based autólogas cells are one type of personalized medicine from the cells of the patient himself, and to give the patient to implement them. There is now a huge demand in the national health system (SNS) of this type of cell therapies autólogas cells.

The benefits of those treatments for citizens and, in general, for the sustainability of the national health system are visible, so that we need new techniques and technologies that will provide a production capacity more versatile, standardized and automated advanced systems of control for compliance with the perfect manufacture. This type of platforms of the capacities of transfer of good practices in use can contribute to the deployment of personalized medicine based autologous treatment in the national health system.

Technological challenge

The activity is primarily aimed at developing the technology needed to create a prototype of platform that includes integrated three subsystems:

• New biorreactores using equipment of a single use.
• New intelligent platform management biorreactores parallel and,
• New platform of intelligent transfer of good practices in use. The platform for biorreactores composed of three subsystems may validated as a single prototype in conditions in real pre-operacionales health research centre.

Public purchase innovation

The Purchase of Innovation (ICC) is a tool to promote innovation from the public sector, through the acquisition of innovative solutions and solutions in the process of development.

In 2018 integrates the icc in the activity of theCDTI Innovationand in 2023 becomes entrenched in the form of Pre-Commercial Public Purchase (CPP). Through this instrument, the services of CDTI acquires R & D to develop prototypes of first products or services, in the form of test series technologically innovative, and that would meet public needs. The prototype developed within the framework of these Cpc caving in to spanish Public Entity that is interested in the same and to provide the necessary environment for real validate the technology developed. The prototype will be used only as a technology demonstrator, in order to validate technology, not for commercial purposes. These initiatives are co-financed mainly from european funds.

This Centre develops a prospective constant technology needs assessments that may have public Sector entities english, to create a map of demand.

CDTIInnovation
