The CDTI innovation, through its programme Innvierte, together with Repsol Energy Ventures, has reached an agreement with the partners of Ezzing Renewable Energies, S.L., for a new investment in the company

Solar Ezzing is a technology company sector spanish photovoltaics. Born in 2013 of the two entrepreneurs as victor Sancho and Alberto cortes devoted the first few years to design and adapt technology behind its digital platform, as well as to grow the company internationally organically.

In recent years Ezzing Solar has generated a business close to eur 10 million and has 60 employees distributed between spain, italy, mexico and brazil.

One of the great objectives of the round is that Solar Ezzing can expand its international presence and a foothold in Europe, which generate a monthly average of 100 000 projects through its more than 20,000 active users.

This international presence will lead to the spanish technological to expand and consolidate its local structure in different countries where it already has presence and launch new projects recently signed in new countries as UK and france.

In the technological emphasis will continue at the forefront of technological development in the sector, with major advances and innovative approaches in areas such as the application of artificial intelligence to new clients, the automated design of photovoltaic installations or management of shared consumption communities.


Repsol Energy Ventures

Repsol Energy Venturesis the company Repsol played corporate activity venture capital. this activity Began in 2012. Since then, has invested in more than 20 technological start-ups, spanish, european and american allocate to this end, more than 60 million euros, and has conducted several successful divestments, some including in the first program Innvierte (signed in october 2012).

The main focus of investment activity is the technological development and industrial property for decarbonisation of the energy sector.

The team is composed of 12 professionals, with Repsol dedication exclusively for this purpose, led by its director Gema García gonzález and his two Investment Managers; Marta Gómez Mariano and Amaia of Manueles.

CDTI Innovation

The CDTI innovation is the agency of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that supports innovation based on knowledge, advice and providing public funding for innovation through subsidies or aid partly refundable for innovation and managing public procurement, pre-commercial.

Additionally, through the initiative Innvierte Sustainable Economy, supports and facilitates the capitalization of technology companies. To date, the CDTI, through Innvierte, has committed more than 390 M €in 20 investment vehicles that have invested in more than 240 companies, and through its joint investment line directly committed an amount of more than 338 M €in at least 135 companies.

The CDTI Innovation also facilitates the internationalization of business projects of r & D and innovation of spanish companies and entities and manages the participation of spanish companies in international r & D, Horizon and Eureka, Europe and in industries of science and space.
