The CDTI Innovation through Innvierte, adopts new coinversiones, with a commitment of up to eur 93 million

The CDTI, Innovation financing innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities, as a promoter of the programme Innvierte and sole shareholder of this society, has adopted in the boards of directors of Innvierte over the past 30 january and 22 march, the co-investment companies in 19 (9 and 10 new previously invested), with a committing Innvierte 22 million euros, according to the following:

These coinversiones there will be accompanying 29 investors who have previously been authorised by Innvierte and will provide 24.8 million euros.

In addition to adopting the joint investment in 19 enterprises, in the march council has adopted a new strategic joint investment with a commitment of eur 40 million, which can be extended to 71 million euros; a global commitment of up to eur 93 million.

In this council has also adopted abattery of measures to promote the technological entrepreneurs startups and spanishand the approval of one new professional private investor, so the total number of investors authorised by Innvierte so far totals 143. Of these, 97 active investors are applying to joint investment Innvierte.

Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting the entrepreneurial innovation through support to the risk capital investment in technology-based enterprises or innovative programme. This is done through the collective investment type closed Innvierte Sustainable Economy SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and under the supervision of the national Values and that the CDTI Innovation is a shareholder Only.

To date, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has committed over 384 M €in 20 investment vehicles that have invested in more than 250 businesses, and through its joint investment line directly committed an amount of more than 431 M €in at least 144 companies.

Innvierte fits into the strategy for science, technology and innovation 2021-2027, adopted by decision of the council of ministers, in september. This 2020 Strategy contains goals, the reforms and measures to be taken throughout the area of r + D + i in order to boost their growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the government's policy in r + D + i for the coming years.

CDTI Innovation

The CDTI innovation is the public funding of innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels.
