The CDTI Innovation search a spanish company to work in the design and development of new interconnectors
The Association of research and Industrial cooperation de andalucía (AICIA), and the chinese entity Harbin Institute of Technology, seeking the collaboration of a spanish company that is interested in cooperating in the design and development of new interconnectors to electrolizadores solid oxide (SOECs), adapted to high temperatures, in order to increase significantly their performance and durability
The systems of b solid oxide (SOEC) operate at higher temperatures and have the potential to be much more efficient than other technologies used for the generation of hydrogen as electrolizadores are alkaline membrane or polimérica (PEM).
However, one of the challenges of the SOEC technology is that different temperatures equipment internal reduces the durability of its components. The interconnectors are among the main components operating between each of the b, by introducing water vapour and steering the hydrogen produced, towards the collectors affairs.
Therefore, the optimization in the design of interconnectors to allow a more uniform internal distribution of temperature increase significantly the durability of these systems, reducing their cost and promoting its implementation in the production of hydrogen.
In this collaboration has included high qualifications of the associationAICIAit has a good level of technical expertise in the numerical modeling and simulation electromechanical systems, and of the chinese entityHarbin Institute of TechnologyShenzhen, Campus.
Supporting organisation
The spanish company in question must have knowledge and expertise in various development-related activities of these interconnectors as well as in resolving sealed and integration of the cells in the architecture of a prototype electrolizador SOEC solid oxide.
