The CDTI Innovation promotes the formation of 575 specialist managers to maximize access to spanish entities european funds for innovation

In a context in which technological innovation is key to business development, the centre for technological development and innovation (CDTI) was continuing to strengthen its commitment to the strategic support to companies and entities to promote the training of professionals specialized in the management of european projects, with the aim of maximizing the access of spanish companies and entities to funds of I + D + I of the european commissionreturn record reached by spainin the first three years of Horizon europe, which amount to 3.416 million euros, is the result of the amount of technological capabilities and innovative innovative fabric spanish operational knowledge of the programmes and application processes and the peculiarities of the functional expertise deployed by the CDTI through its graduate programs, seminars and specialization of managers.

Between 2021 and 2024, CDTI has developed 13 proceedings for training and education who have shed, among the various typologies, a total of 575 new professionals that broadens the perimeter of the community of project managers CDTI european is promoting since 2010, a large proportion of which is often concentrated on the traditional Conferences as a framework programme that the CDTI organizes biennially, and that, in 2024, has reached its twelfth edition.

Proceedings of training

The Diploma de Experto in promotion and gestión de Proyectos Internacionales de I + D + I of the Universidad politécnica de Madrid (UPM) fuelled by the CDTI, continuously since 2009 with a high of applications. For its part, the course of An expert in European Projects Iberus Campus, which has three itineraries for managers and promoters of european projects, has received for its third edition 2025-2025 over 120 applications. Both programmes which have an extension of 15 and 10 ECTS credits, respectively, contribute to the formation of spanish professionals in the promotion and management of research and development into programmes and institutions, with special emphasis on the Framework programme for research and innovation of the european Union.

Proceedings of specialization

In parallel, the CDTI also organizes seminars of high specialization, such as the seminar of advisers in r & D & I projects of the european union, which has reached the 29 editions and is aimed at professionals whose main business is supporting the participation of entities in spain in r & D + I projects funded by the european union through Horizon europe and related initiatives, and the seminar 15x15, aiming at the expert staff of entities that are demonstrating a very active in the last years of H2020 and Horizon europe and that they have participation ambitious for the following (2025-2027), limited to 36 participants with experience in the drafting and preparation of proposals and that it is only possible to attend by invitation.

In parallel, the Programme managers of Specialization in the office of CDTI-SOST located in brussels, with a 10-day programme whose goal is to update knowledge on the various programmes of r & I taught by rapporteurs of the european commission, agencies and european and international organisations and contribute to improving the strategic positioning of spanish entities, anticipating the editions of the programmes of work. This stay in brussels is completed with a single agenda meetings, contacts, visits and events, tutorizada by professionals of CDTI-SOST Brussels.

Proceedings of updating, development and community of experts

Every two years, the CDTI convened the conference of the framework programme for r & I of the eu in España | Horizonte Europa, which brings together an average of about 1,000 participants from all over España and updating performance information and on the characteristics and its initiatives, actions and perspectives and which includes an extensive exhibition of posters of projects and an agenda for B2B meetings, as well as the availability of expert advice by professionals of CDTI. This event has become the reference to the ecosystem of spanish entities that come to eu funding for innovation and an opportunity to update knowledge on the state of art and its resources.

In addition, the day prior to the conference called upon the CDTI programs participants 15x15 Seminar and specialization Programme managers in a day at the same city, with the aim of keeping alive the relational stimulus and community initiative of the best participants in the framework programme generated from your conduct of training and education

The impact of these actions of transmission of knowledge provides a highly positive and is reflected in the growing presence of companies and research spaniards in the framework programme for the eu and its performance in the recruitment of european funds for spain.

CDTI Innovation

The CDTI Innovation is the agency for financing innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels.
