The CDTI promotes Innovation and technological cooperation with Emiratos Árabes Unidos

The CDTI Innovation and Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) of Abu Dabi have gathered today to make an agreement recently signed, indicating the commitment of both entities to increase competitiveness through programmes and activities that promote the transfer of technology, r & D and technological innovation between the two countries

This agreement is a significant event in the cooperation of both countries

During this event, which has been chaired by Abdulaziz Aldosari, Executive Director of theAdvanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), and Carlos de la Cruz, Director de tecnología CDTI and internationalization of innovation, has highlighted this declaration of intent which marks a significant milestone in bilateral relations between the two countries because it adds a new pillar of cooperation in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

The presentation have assisted Irina Sanchís, chargé d'affaires of the spanish embassy in WATER, and Jorge Rodríguez, president of the association of scientists and Investigadores Españoles in United Arab Emirates (ACIEAU).

This Statement of intent will foster cooperation between the two countries on transfer of technology, industrial research, technological development and innovation, by identifying potential areas of collaboration, exchange of information on collaborative ventures, connections for industrial and academic actors emiratís and spanish and other forms of collaboration, cooperation and partnership of actors who can help them build consortia.


Momentum technology cooperation

The Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) aims to promote and strengthen an ecosystem of research and development to assert itself on that Abu Dabi and the united arab emirates as a key player in technology, and support the transformation of the country into a knowledge-based economy. ATRC emirati is the entity responsible for defining the strategy of research and development of Abu Dabi on the whole system of R & D, involving both the academy and industry.

It is also responsible for consolidating and facilitating the financing of investments efficient. This body is responsible to one of the main entities of the region, the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), center for research and development that focuses on applied research and development of technological capabilities and with various research centres, among others, robotics and autonomous quantum cryptography, advanced materials, cyber security and energy.

CDTI Innovation

The CDTI Innovation is the agency for financing innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels. We Contribute to the improvement of the technological level of spanish companies and drive and, with an international network with coverage of 51 countries support the spanish participation in international programmes for technology cooperation and the international transfer of technology.
