The CDTI Innovation meets with representatives of the government of the basque country to further enhance the technological development of this Autonomous Community
This morning has met, at the seat of the CDTI innovation, the mixed commission comprising representatives of the CDTI Innovation and the government of the basque country to analyse the annual follow-up report of the collaborative agreement established between the two entities to encourage innovation and technological development of this Autonomous Community

By the CDTI Innovation have attended, among others, Juan Antonio Tébar, Director de políticas de innovación. On the part of the basque government, Jaione Ganzarain Epelde, Viceconsejera de tecnología, innovation and Transformación Digital; Alberto Fernández, Director de tecnología e innovación, department of Industry, Energy Transition and sustainability, and Catalina Chamorro, responsible for the Corporate Agenda of the department of Industry, Energy Transition and sustainability.
In the case ofSPRIhave they been present Cristina Oyón, director of technology, innovation and sustainability and Amaia Martínez, chief technologist.
This meeting, the fifth conceived with the basque country with this new agreement among its aims: to exchange information, to encourage the presentation of proposals for innovative technological existing programmes of public aid of both entities, to facilitate the participation in international programmes that manages the CDTI Innovation and promote the diffusion and transfer of technologies.
The CDTI Innovation promoter of corporate r & D
Consultative reference in the innovative ecosystem english, CDTI Innovation plays a proactive role in the promotion of technological development and innovation. In particular, the disruptive innovation for the development of technological capabilities differentials that contribute to the momentum of the spanish enterprise competitiveness. For this reason, this Centre maintains various Cooperation agreements with the autonomous communities to drive innovation and technological development in each community.

The Basque Country
The Basque Country is an active community in the development of technological projects receiving advice and funding of Innovation. Since CDTI 2018 so far, the CDTI Innovation has given almost eur 580 million to over 600 entities of this Autonomous Community of which 69 are smes.
The projects approved by this organization have generated more than 3000 jobs, of which 24 per cent of them women worked.
CDTI Innovation
The CDTI Innovation is the agency for financing innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels. We Contribute to the improvement of the technological level of spanish companies and drive and, with an international network with coverage of 51 countries support the spanish participation in international programmes for technology cooperation and the international transfer of technology. The CDTI also supports the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises in Spain.
The centre for technological development and innovation, E.P.E. (CDTI) is a public entity under the ministry of Science, innovation and universities.
