  • The governing council of Innvierte approved in may and june commitments of participation in eight venture capital funds, with a global contribution by Innvierte, more than eur 408 million

The CDTI Innovation committed society and risk capital investmentInnviertea package of coinversiones and participation in eight venture capital funds near the 450 million euros, which were adopted by the governing boards of Innvierte of the past 23 may and 26 june.

In particular, the commitments of participation in eight venture capital funds amount to a global contribution by Innvierte over 408 million euros, depending on the following:

With regard to stage of development or maturity of the funds that it committed itself participation (1 in catalonia, 5 in Madrid and two in the basque country), following the definitions agreed among the main european associations venture are divided as follows:

These coinversiones there will be accompanying 34 investors who have previously been authorised by Innvierte and will provide 45.8 million euros.

In addition to adopting the joint investment in 21 companies, at the june council has adopted a new strategic joint investment with a commitment of 1.4 million euros, which represented an overall compromise of up to €39 million in direct investment in enterprises.

These councils, there has also adopted the approval of 16 new private investors professionals, the total number of authorised by Innvierte investors to date is 159. Of these, 112 active investors are applying to joint investment Innvierte.

Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting the entrepreneurial innovation through support to the risk capital investment in technology-based enterprises or innovative programme. Innvierte is part of the strategy for science, technology and innovation 2021-2027, adopted by decision of the council of ministers, in september. This 2020 Strategy contains goals, the reforms and measures to be taken throughout the area of r + D + i in order to boost their growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the government's policy in r + D + i for the coming years.

The centre for technological development and innovation, E.P.E. (CDTI), sponsor and sole shareholder of society Innvierte, is an entity under the ministry of Science, innovation and universities.
