The CDTI Innovation has formalised its incorporation as a partner to Innovation Growth Lab IGL), a global initiative working to increase the impact of innovation and growth policies on the incorporation of new ideas and evidence at the pilot tested and whose results of research of high impact on improving the design of programmes and policies focusing on the institutions to make economies more innovative and productive.

The CDTI extends this accession strategy and its commitment in the field of impact assessment of its programmes, critical factor for the decision-making processes and to the approach in the design of new instruments, as well as to the dissemination and communication associated to the momentum generated and encouragement for its programmes for potential new business users whose activity is based on R + D + I. Supported expert from the CDTI IGL, aims to become a more experimental, always from a realistic approach, aligned with national policy of I + D + I and with the members of the ecosystem of innovation.

GLI has a scientific committee, composed of investigators from the front line, which advises the proceedings based on networking, exchange and partnership, combining a specialized investigators in areas with public and private pilot to evolve to new ideas. In particular, the political institutions develop and test new ideas systematically through a pilot approach:

  • Defining a niche to small-scale
  • Trying out different designs systematically
  • Learning what works to increase the impact pursued
  • Implementing learning paint small action in the areas of larger scale

The ultimate goal of these actions is to improve the work of the entire organization, with the people within and focusing on the needs in every moment are priorities. Through experimentation, the possibility of obtaining empirical evidence on the functioning and impact of public policies and adapt it to the challenges of every moment.

CDTI Innovation

The CDTI innovation is the public funding of innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels. We Contribute to the improvement of the technological level of spanish companies and drive and, with an international network with coverage of 51 countries support the spanish participation in international programmes for technology cooperation and the international transfer of technology. The CDTI also supports the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises in Spain.

The centre for technological development and innovation, E.P.E. (CDTI) is a public entity under the ministry of Science, innovation and universities.
