Ródenas & Rivera manufactures flexible packaging for food and non-food. In wide range of products include coextruidos films, laminates and barrier effect for applications type Flow pack horizontal and vertical trays, tapas Stand-up bags and large format, among others.

With regard to productive resources, the competitive advantage of the business is a vertical manufacturing model that includes from the extrusion of products for play and blowing, court and winding and flexographic printing, rolling up to the case of etc.

Circular economy

In the short term, this sme aims to 100 per cent of their products to promote circular economy, contributing to the development of a more sustainable society. With this objective, in 2022 initiated, with financial supportCDTI InnovationandErdf Fundsthe eua project to make several ranges of products of your portfolio will incorporate more than 80% of recycled material. That will make the alignment with policies aimed at the replacement of the use of virgin materials by other adapted to different uses.

“ the technological challenge of this project focuses on two points: as already mentioned, the incorporation of more than 80% of recycled material in conventional products manufactured until now with 100% of virgin material, and to achieve the homogenization of both materials without altering its mechanical properties. Domestic market

“ Our diversification in markets and products is comprehensive, and we work with clients very varied, ranging from large international and national groups to smaller companies in the national territory and also abroad. Our resilience against allow us to offer solutions that each of them needs ”.

“ 80 per cent of our turnover comes from the domestic market, especially of food (bakery and confectionery, meat and sausages, frozen, nuts and snacks, among others), followed by the sectors related to hygiene, paper, graphic arts, chemical and pharmacy, etc. In terms of export trade, we are present in more than 60 countries, including The united states, germany, france, italy and Portugal and in the coming years we intend to grow in most international markets ”.

CDTI Innovation
