The CDTI SICC Innvierte of Innovation invests, together with DRAPER B1 III RCF SMES, ARKADIA SPACE, company dedicated to the development of green propulsion systems

The CDTI Innovation, through its programme, together with Innvierte DRAPER B1 III RCF smes, has reached an agreement with the partners of ARKADIA AEROSPACE PROPULSION & TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS, S.L. (ARKADIA SPACE), to enter the capital of the company.

ARKADIA SPACEit is a company dedicated to the development of green propulsion systems. Its technology permits mobility in the area of satellites and space platforms offering an efficient and sustainable alternative to traditional solutions.

The input committed by the CDTI innovation is eur 360 000.

DRAPER B1

Is the venture capital fund of the south of europe within the network Draper Venture Network, created by the famous american investor, Tim Draper. This network includes twenty distributed funds in all continents, as well as shared resources located in San Francisco and in the service of the startups investees.

Draper B1founded in 2010, has invested in over 150 technological companies. It was promoted by a team of entrepreneurs and investors, which in turn founded the first spanish accelerator specializing in the promotion of innovative business ideas that base their model on the internet and mobile applications.

Over 15 years of life, Draper B1, based in Valencia, has been one of venture Capital funds relating to investment in spain in seed startups Saas B2B in 4 specialized vertical (Future of work, Future of commerce, Fintech and Blockchain). With the new fund recently launched, Draper B1 would also consolidate as a reference in companies deeptech, being concerned also by sectors such as cyber, now, and space. ARKADIA represents the first of its investments in space.

Innvierte

Innvierteit is an initiative aimed at promoting the entrepreneurial innovation through support to the risk capital investment in technology-based enterprises or innovative programme. This is done through the collective investment type closed Innvierte Sustainable Economy SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and under the supervision of the national Values and that the CDTI Innovation is a shareholder Only.

To date, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, committed 1.875 M €in 55 investment vehicles that have invested in more than 599 companies, and through its joint investment line directly committed an amount of 601 M €in 178 companies.

Innvierte fits into the strategy for science, technology and innovation 2021-2027, adopted by decision of the council of ministers, in september. This 2020 Strategy contains goals, the reforms and measures to be taken throughout the area of r + D + i in order to boost their growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the government's policy in r + D + i for the coming years.

CDTI Innovation
