Spanish companies wishing to participate in REGIOSTARS 2024 must submit its proposal to the CDTI Innovation
Organized by DG REGIO ofEuropean Commission,2024 REGIOSTARSthose projects that proposals have been completed and cofinanced from theErdf Fundsduring the rounds 2014-2020 or 2021-2027. It is to reward those proposals that provide solutions to common challenges and, for its innovation, are a reference to certain eu regions
This call includes five categories:
- Category 1) A COMPETITIVE EUROPE And Smart: Enhancing the competitiveness, innovation and economic resilience.
- Category 2) A GREEN EUROPE: The ecological transition as an engine of regional development.
- Category 3) A EUROPE CONNECTED: Improve the mobility and connectivity between regions.
- Category 4) A SOCIAL EUROPE AND ALL-INCLUSIVE: Making europe more inclusive building regional talent.
- Category 5) EUROPE CLOSER TO CITIZENS: to promote sustainable development of all types of territories.

The projects will end on31 may 2024
Contribution of CDTI Innovation
Those spanish companies that want to participate should refer to:comunicacion.fondoseuropeos@cdti.esits project, indicating in the subject matter:“ REGIOSTARS Contest ”. The deadline for submission to theCDTI Innovationends the22 may to the 23.59 during p.m.. The final selection of projects participants should be accepted, subsequently, by the ministry of finance.
Languages
Applications can be filed in any of the official languages of the Eu. The selected spanish companies to continue in the final phase should defend its proposal in english during the Week of the regions and cities in brussels, scheduled for october this year.

CDTI Innovation
The CDTI innovation is the public funding of innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels. We Contribute to the improvement of the technological level of spanish companies and drive and, with an international network with coverage of 51 countries support the spanish participation in international programmes for technology cooperation and the international transfer of technology. The CDTI also supports the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises in Spain.
