The CDTI Innovation consolidates the purchase of spanish Innovation

From 2018, this space of encounter specialising has been consolidated as the reference event in spain and latin america on Public Procurement of innovation and open innovation in public and as the main event, in its multi-sector, in latin america.

Organized by theInter-american development bankin collaboration with theCDTI Innovationat the opening involved Teresa Risk, secretary of innovationMinistry of science and innovationenglish, Paula Llobet, Women Councillors of innovation of the city of Valencia, Juan José Cortés, Director General of the Generalitat Valenciana, Salvador Coll Arnau, vice chancellor of Transfer and innovation of the Universitat politécnica de València and Gustavo Crespi, chief specialist on Competitiveness, technology and innovation of the inter-american development bank.

In this edition, numerous institutional representatives and experts from different sectors discussed on the design, implementation and deployment of the icc and open innovation efforts in the public domain. Support for the Pre-Commercial Public Purchase

From 2018, the strategy of the office of the Innovative Public Procurement (OCPI) ofCDTIit aims at fostering entrepreneurial innovation for innovative solutions that meet the specific needs of different Public Administrations and modernize the public sector, building on the innovative capacity of enterprises and the framework of the high quality and sustainability that demand more Europe.

This Centre, through the mechanism of Pre-Commercial Public Purchase (CPP), acquires prototypes, in the form of a series of evidence, of those products and services, technologically innovative Public administrations need but cannot get on the market for their specific characteristics.

The prototype that development is conceded by the CDTI innovation within the framework of a collaboration agreement to the spanish government has demanded that the service or product that is to be improved. The prototype must be used solely for the validation of the technology proposed in a real and not for commercial purposes.

The operations will be able to generate future rights of economic return, via royalties, up to 10% of the commercial exploitation of the results that could lead, as well as preferential entrance, through theINNVIERTE programmein the capital of corporations incorporated in order to exploit the generated technologies.

CDTIInnovation

The CDTI innovation is the agency of the ministry of science and innovation that supports innovation based on knowledge, advice and providing public funding for innovation through subsidies or aid partly refundable for innovation and managing public procurement precommercial. Through the initiative Innvierte Sustainable Economy, in addition, the CDTI Innovation supports and facilitates the capitalization of technology companies.

The CDTI Innovation also facilitates the internationalization of business projects of r & D and innovation of spanish companies and entities and manages the participation of spanish companies in international r & D, Horizon and Eureka, Europe and in industries of science and space.
