The CDTI Innovation disseminates a tender on autonomous air systems multimission to extinguish fires
This initiativePre-Commercial Public purchasefor the development of solutions in the area of air systems multimission self-employed in the field of firefighting arises from the necessity of finding new detected solutions for the inclusion of autonomous aircraft that are very effective in the work of extinction
This is expected to contribute to remove barriers to access, both technological and commercial, for their implementation in the near future as optimal solutions and for intensive fight against severe forest fires, allowing greater control of the same and, at the same time, obtaining advantages inherent in the less risk to staff and operating with the lowest cost.
Technological challenge awarded
Based on the budget bidding activities: 11.996.000 Eur (+ vat)
Time frame: 36 months

Phase 1 (design of the resolution): 3 contractors (qualifying phase)
Phase 2 (development of prototypes): 1 contractor
Phase 3 (Validation preoperacional): 1 contractor

Jornada informativa
On 27 november, the CDTI Innovation will be ajornada informativato submit Pre-Commercial Public Purchase (CPP) aimed at the service of research and development of innovative solutions in the autonomous air role in the field of fire fighting, funded from funds allocated by the CDTI Innovation.
The participants will proceed to explain the framework of this code of criminal procedure, the process we are going to follow in the management of the same, the details of the technological challenge raised, the main points that are relevant to the tender, as well as resolve technical consultations and specific administrative involvement of market operators concerned.
All issues received will be answered and published in a public document that will take the case file later in the beijing platform for recruitment of the public Sector, and will be updated regularly with the aim of which is available to all the operators concerned.
Public purchase innovation
The Purchase of Innovation (ICC) is a tool to promote innovation from the public sector, through the acquisition of innovative solutions and solutions in the process of development.
From 2018,CDTI Innovationencourages the ICC in the form of Pre-Commercial Public Purchase (CPP). Through this instrument, the services of CDTI acquires R & D to develop prototypes of first products or services, in the form of test series technologically innovative, and that would meet public needs. The prototype developed within the framework of these Cpc caving in to spanish Public Entity that is interested in the same and to provide the necessary environment for real validate the technology developed. The prototype will be used only as a technology demonstrator, in order to validate technology, not for commercial purposes. These initiatives are co-financed mainly from european funds.
This Centre develops a prospective constant technology needs assessments that may have public Sector entities english, to create a map of demand.
