The CDTI Innovation announced the so-called 2024 of technological cooperation between spain and Korea

TheCDTI Innovationthe entity,Ministry of science, innovation and universitiesandKorea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KYATS)have reached an agreement with the aim of publishing this call whose content can be downloaded here.

By their agreement, the CDTI KYATS Innovation and undertake to promote, support and financing joint technological projects of corporate entities korean and spanish, which can be supported by business entities that, in the case of spain shall be as subcontractors.

Grants

The convening 2024 subsidized to finance those joint projects related to renewable energy, hydrogen and storage of energy that have far-reaching and high impact.

The projects that are adopted will receive a quality label "" a promotional element and recognition of the technological level of the proposal. In Addition, these projects, public funding. Each country will assume the financing of their entities involved. In the case of spain, the CDTI Innovation is the body responsible for granting aid.

Characteristics of the projects

• The outcome of the same must be a product, process or innovative service.
• The consortium should comprise at least two spanish companies (a big or small as a leader and an additional SMES) and korea, which are independent. The project must be relevant for all partners and no country or a member of the partnership must have more than 60 per cent of the budget.
• None of the applicants may participate in more than one consortium to a same sitting. If the case, you will be asked to select a participant that request and to withdraw the rest.
• The duration of projects may be between 12 and 36 months.
• The proposals will always have a purpose.
• With regard to the spanish participation in the consortiumthe budget will be among the overall objective3andeur 6 millionand there is need for a minimum budgetary contribution by the SMES of 10 per cent on the total budget of the spanish particpación. The budget must be consistent with the developments that must be carried out with the capacity and technical/financial position of the participants.

In addition, participants should sign a consortium to specify the rights and obligations of the parties with regard to development to be accomplished and possible intellectual property rights, exploitation and sale of the results.

Procedure for the submission of proposals

With regard to theCDTI Innovationthe reporting procedure distinguishes betweenInternational Application PCTI-PSIandthe request of national aid.

For the international application, the participants must submit, respectively, in the CDTI KYATS innovation and request on-line KSSP accompanied by the following international documents that should be drafted in english.

The period that presentation enabled ends at 6 p.m. (local time in each agency), of 25 april.

By the spanish side, the international application (PCTI-PSI) must be filed on-line throughelectronicthe CDTI and solely by project, although there are two or more spanish companies in the consortium.

Aplication Form.

At the end of the International Application, CDTI KYATS innovation and will begin the eligibility of the proposals. All those who meet the characteristics of eligibility for the call will be assessed by a panel of qualified and independent experts with a score. Only those proposals with a total score higher than the threshold default (70 points on 100) will become a sort list (ranking list).

By order of punctuation, may be drawn between 2 and 4 projects, to receive the letter of approval KSSP (awarding the label KSSP) confirming the availability of funds. The allocation of national funds to selected applications will follow the order of the sort list.

Spanish applicants who are receiving KSSP approval letter must contact the CDTI Innovation because it is mandatory for each participant english make the request of National Aid individually.

The request of National Aid

The deadline for submission of the application of the national Aid will be the CDTI25 july 2024 the 18:00 h (spanish time).
