The CDTI Innovation drives new areas of collaboration for the science
This morning, josé Moisés Martin, Director General of the CDTI innovation, has opened the industry III Day science – scientific and technical Infrastructures Unique (ICTS): Expand Horizons, strategic plans and projects worth more than 300 million euros, which represented great opportunities for the spanish industry in various Areas of technology
During the opening have also been involved Teresa Risk, secretary-General of innovation and Eva Ortega, secretary-General of research,Ministry of science, innovation and universities, and Marcos Sánchez, president of theTechnological platform Induciencia.
This is the3Rd edition of an annual forum between the science and scientific and technical Infrastructures Unique (ICTS)related mainly to the areas of particle physics, astronomy and merger.
This year the theme for the day is “ To Expand Horizons ”, as entry to new areas of ICTS such as maritime sectors,Hydraulic Infrastructure research Maritime Attaché (MARHIS); materialsIntegrated Infrastructure scan of materials (ELECMI)energy and storage, with the involvement ofIberian centre research Energy Storage (CIIAE).
ICTS are the spanish infrastructures which make it possible to carry out scientific research and technological development. Such infrastructures, they contribute to the development of industry of science, industrial sector to collaborate in the design and manufacture of components, systems and subsystems for construction, updating and maintenance of the scientific infrastructure at national and international levels.
Active participation
Organized by theCDTI InnovationandTechnological platform INDUCIENCIAin collaboration with the sub-department of ICTSMinistry of science, innovation and universitiesthis edition features the participation of representatives and experts from 15 scientific and technical Infrastructure and Unique 60 entities, mostly companies, as well as technological centres and universities.
During the same has been conducted round tables: Astronomy and astrophysics; Particle physics, laser and fusion, and expand the horizons of industry of science, and meetings organized with the B2B ICTS assistants.
CDTI Innovation
The CDTI innovation is the public funding of innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels. We Contribute to the improvement of the technological level of spanish companies and drive and, with an international network with coverage of 51 countries support the spanish participation in international programmes for technology cooperation and the international transfer of technology. The CDTI also supports the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises in Spain.
The centre for technological development and innovation, E.P.E. (CDTI) is a public entity under the ministry of Science, innovation and universities.
