The CDTI Innovation coordinates the participation of the science of spain at the next Big Science Business Forum 2024
From 1 to 4 october, will be held in Trieste (Italy), the third edition of the Big Science Business Forum, the biggest event of the european industry of science, industry provider of systems and services for large as europe ’ s scientific F4E, CERN, ESRF, ESS, that, ESA, ILL, European XFEL, FAIR and SKAO
This business forum, which includes the participation of 30 countries and more than 1000 delegates from 500 non-governmental organizations, will serve to promote cooperation between the science and the european research infrastructure.
In the congress, the european scientific bodies attendees will share their plans and projects of billions of euros for the 2024-2028 where there is a huge potential for cooperation with the technology industry union.
Those activities are of very high technology in strategic areas such as space, particle physics and the development of fusion energy. The equipment and systems that require these great scientific facilities are very demanding requirements and acted as poles of technological development and innovation with high potential for technology transfer to other sectors.
Participation of CDTI Innovation
This year, the CDTI Innovation plays an important role in organizing the BSBF 2024. Part of the International Organizing Committee, as organizer of the previous edition PERIIA and chair of the european network Iwe (Industry Liaison Officers), union. In addition, two of the session will be sixteen parallel sessions: the meeting of Innovative smes and the meeting of TICs. It will also coordinate the spanish flag composed of 10 companies in addition to the technology platform INDUCIENCIA CDTI and Innovation. Furthermore, in the exhibition space will be 9 spanish companies with personal booth. In this edition our country would have the largest number of exhibiting companies after Italy.
Finally, it is noteworthy that the gfa and Cadinox companies will be, respectively, sponsors in gold and silver of the congress.
The delegation of the department of multilateral Technology Programs CDTI Innovation will be present throughout the congress to support spanish companies in the pursuit of business opportunities.

The CDTI innovation is the public funding of innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels. We Contribute to the improvement of the technological level of spanish companies and drive and, with an international network with coverage of 51 countries support the spanish participation in international programmes for technology cooperation and the international transfer of technology. The CDTI also supports the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises in Spain.
