The CDTI Innovation financed enterprises in the invitation of the partnership 2024 Cofund “ Animal Health and Welfare ”

EUPAHW is the initiative of research and innovation is more ambitious than the european commission financed to control infectious diseases of animals and promote animal welfare in livestock production.

It is expected an investment ofeur 360 millionfor seven years to promote research and facilitate cooperation among all actors.

Three calls

Through three calls for the financing of international research projects, the agencies funding partners and the european commission funded research projects that help solve the problems identified in itsStrategic Agenda for research and innovation.

The first call until8 july 2024and it will address three main themes:

• New technologies for prevention, detection, evaluation and management of the health and welfare of animals.
• Basic research for health and animal welfare.
• Health and Animal welfare and Society.

With one of these three approaches, applicants must meet the goals stated in the text of this first call (see Annex VI to the text of the call).

Aid from the CDTI Innovation

TheCDTI Innovationwill participate in this call with spanish companies, whose amount is determined individually on the basis of actual eligible cost of the project, the characteristics of the beneficiary and the budgetary availability.

Requests

1: Pre-propuestas phase:
International consortia are to submit their pre-propuestas throughplatformenabled for that purpose.

Each spanish company participating in a consortium should send via theelectronicofCDTI Innovationa preliminary application. This request is an online form accompanied by a technical memory describing in spanish, the r & D activities to the company take place and the budget of the company involvement in the proposal.
Both applications should be sent with time-limit8 july 2024, 3 CEST.

Phase 2: Full proposals
Only international proposals that are selected in phase 1 will be invited to participate in phase 2.
