"Plug-in CDTI Programme"- Accelerator of the EIC of Horizon Europe

TheThe european council (EIC) was established in the context of the agendaHorizon Europeand was created with the ambition to become all the innovative, be researchers, scientists,start-ups,spin-offsor small enterprises in general that aim to climb and delivering technology expanded and deployed in the market.

In particular theAccelerator (EIC Accelerator)search climb and lead to market processing technologies through support for smes in the form of grants and investments in the capital of companies throughFund of EIC.

As part of the service CDTI in support of the participant on the accelerator, CDTI certified as correct NEOTEC programme to facilitate access of the beneficiary enterprises the EIC accelerator.

The Plug-Inthe EIC is a tool defined by the european commission for fostering synergies between state and regional programmes and an accelerator of Horizon EIC Europe. Is managed through a process of selection of companies whose draft R & I have already been supported by programmes that put the company in the degree of ripeness of appropriate technology to be competitive on the accelerator of the EIC and who are in a good time to raise rounds of investment growth. The selected companies throughPlug-Indirectly access the support of a coach of the EIC and drafting of the complete proposal off the accelerator within 12 months, without need for the european commission to evaluate its proposal.

In the agendaPlug-InCDTI companies are eligible beneficiaries whose draft NEOTEC has finished in the past two years are being completed projects that have completed certification and in whose case is the record of certification signed.

The process of access to the programmePlug-Inof CDTI is organized as follows:

1. Once every year CDTI identifies the list of projects completed NEOTEC eligible.
2. CDTI informs businesses of the opening of the selection processPlug-Inof that year, its dates and documentation necessary: a chip on the project idea to send the Accelerator andPitch Deck10 pages.
3. The companies concerned requesting access to the evaluation processPlug-InCDTI and provide the necessary information.
4. Companies are invited to an assessment in a panel with two external experts coordinated by CDTI staff.
5. Sends the results of the assessment and are discussed individually with each company.
6. CDTI informed the european commission on the selected companies to participate in an accelerator for receiving EIC, access to the EIC coaching and the preparation of complete proposal within 12 months.

In general, the process begins this autumn in order to report back to the european commission before the end of the year, so that the companies have the following years to prepare and submit its proposal.
