TheState Plan of scientific research, technological and Innovation 2021-2024(hereinafter PEICTI), adopted by decision of the council of ministers on 7 may 2024, constitutes the programming instrument that makes it possible to develop, fund and implement public policies of the General state administration on the promotion and coordination of I + D + l.

The PEICTI is articulated through five vertical programmes and three horizontal, forming a matrix of actions to respond to the objectives of the strategy for science and technology and Innovation. The Plan includes state aid, annual and multiannual, engaged in r + D + I, granted through the appeals seek provided for in article 22.1 of theLaw 38/2003 of 17 november, General subsidies.

Among the five PEICTI vertical programmes of the agenda for transfer and cooperation that aims to boost the transfer of knowledge and encourage collaboration between institutions and agents of the spanish system of science, technology and innovation (SECTI), with particular attention to the collaboration público-privada. In particular, the Subprogramme "For further collaboration Within and between Public and private sectors" recognizes this in its proceedings the financing of r & D & I projects in partnership, and propose solutions to cross-cutting and strategic challenges for society, including the programmes of missions.
